AFRiCAN Dundada: Benefit Concert for Immigrant Programs (Portland)

April 22 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Portland Maine’s own South Sudanese native recording artist, AFRiCAN DUNDADA, will be perform live to benefit Mayo Street Arts youth programs, the ACLU of Maine, Action Against Hunger, and South Sudan Care at a fundraiser concert on Saturday, April 1. Your ticket will support organizations that work to provide programs for immigrant youth and reliable sources of water and food to those in need. Live performances will include AFRiCAN DUNDADA, other local musicians, local speakers, and traditional dancers including the Acholi dancers.

AFRiCAN DUNDADA has performed alongside local musicians such as Spose, Dillan Raw, Conman, and many others including international reggae superstars like Gyptain and Khago. This concert will highlight the local, diverse talent and soul in Maine that doesn’t get much recognition.

With his music AFRiCAN DUNDADA wants to raise both awareness and resources for the millions still struggling to survive in the fractured aftermath of the conflicts and ever present shortage of foods and supplies, education and opportunities. It is his plan to return home to Africa eventually, bringing relief, hope, and music.
