Emma Goldman’s Revolutionary Dance Party (Brunswick)

April 1, 2017 @ 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Emma Goldman, a turn of the 20th century woman’s health and birth control advocate once wrote:

“If I can’t Dance I don’t want to be part of your Revolution.”

We couldn’t agree with her more!

This dance party is to benefit Planned Parenthood Maine. All proceeds will go to support women’s reproductive health care here in Maine.

Donation at the door of $10 (or what ever works for you…just come and Dance with friends new and old).

We will have two LIVE bands!

The HEADLINING act will be THE HOWLIGANS playing a guitar-driven danceable mix of rock and roll influenced by country, pop and PUNK!

The OPENER is Midcoast Maine’s very own MIDNIGHT RIDERS heating things up with Soul & Funk and a side of Blues Rock! Get your body moving and shake off the winter hangover.

Nothing better then dancing to get our energy recharged and ready to go for the Spring Campaigns!

There will also be food from local restuarants with a plate donation of $5.

We are a group of Planetary residents who have come together in response to the massive upheaval evolving in recent times and coming to head during the 2016 Presidential election season and its aftermath.

We offer positive energy while recognizing the enormity of the changes and challenges ahead. We know that positive energy leads us on a path towards what we want for our families, local communities and planetary relations.

What better way to engage positive energy then to DANCE!

Our current collaboration partners are: Bachor Construction, Fern & Root, Leah Gauthier, Jia Yoga and Love Is Better.
