Rockland Resolution for Diversity Workshop (Rockland)

March 6 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

This is a Rockland City Council-sponsored workshop intended to give the community a chance to weigh in on the proposed city-wide resolution for diversity titled: RESOLUTION OF COMMITMENT TO PROMOTING AN OPEN, RESPECTFUL, HEALTHY COMMUNITY.

If you want this to pass, we need you there to show your support! Let’s pack the room with supporters! Bring a friend!

The Council meeting begins at 5:30, and the workshop about the resolution will likely be towards the end of the meeting.

We expect that after this meeting, the Council will officially vote on it on March 13th.

If you can’t make it to the workshop, but live, work, or are a student in Rockland, please write a letter to the local papers and to the councilors in support of it. Let them know why it is important that Rockland take a proactive stance in support of embracing diversity and the environment!
