U Can(‘t) Touch This: A ’90s Dance Party and Fundraiser (Portland)
February 11 @ 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm
U Can(‘t) Touch This: A ’90s Dance Party and Fundraiser for Sexual Health and Education. The ’90s were weird, but talking about sex doesn’t have to be.
The 4-1-1: We all need to feel good about something right now, so let’s feel good about supporting two rad local organizations, Speak About It and Planned Parenthood of Northern New England by having a ’90s dance party. The $5-$10 sliding scale cover charge will be evenly split between the two organizations, and folks can make additional donations on-site. Funds donated to PPNNE on this night will directly support the efforts of Planned Parenthood locally in Northern New England.
Local DJs Teal Child and don DAMIANI will be spinning tunes all night to keep the party (and resistance) going. So dust off your hammer pants and join us at the Oxbow Blending & Bottling Tasting Room in Portland for a benefit for Speak About It and Planned Parenthood of Northern New England.
Speak About It is a Portland non-profit that offers performance-based consent education and sexual assault prevention. By focusing on healthy sexuality and an enthusiastic “yes means yes” approach to sex, they’ve been able to spark productive and dynamic conversation for over 120,000 students across the country and overseas.
